goodbye

one look
one stare
one voice
one whispher
one smile
one laughter

you looked at me
and then i see
the truth i was longing to see
the truth you were hiding from me

i heard your voice
i heard an angel
music to my ears
music to my heart

i saw you smile
i heard you laugh
i saw you wink
as you tickle my heart

you gave me joy
you brought me happiness
you opened my eyes
as you enlighted my heart

just when i thought
i was ready to give my all
i realized it isn't worth a fall
yes you brought me joy
but in the end you made me fall

i know you were happy
when you knew i was gone
i know you were happy
when all the reasons were gone

you were my light
you were my path
but now you're gone
just a memory in the past

one look
one tear
one voice
one scream
one wave
one last goodbye
