better someday

before you came into my life
before you turned everything around
being happy is just a pinch of luck
being lucky isn't as easy as it might sound

outside my door there was light
outside my door there was life
offering your love you opened the door
opening the door you gave me your heart

often they say thet this is wrong
often they say i was wrong all along
obviously they're right
of all the things, you kept me alive

the smile you gave
the laugh you made
the simplest sign
that you know i'm alive

smallest voice i've heard from afar
sounds like an angel fallen from above
something i saw in your wonderful personality
something wonderful gives out the light in me

could it be real
could it be right
can't this feeling be true
can i at least just look at you

so this is the thing i was longing to say
something i kept for i was waiting for the day
sure, i might sound crazy, i may look crazy
someday i'll be more than the person you see
